God has given us gifts—our skills, passions, time, treasure, and mission—not for ourselves, but to serve others and glorify Him. As faithful stewards of God’s grace, we offer these gifts back to Him, trusting that in serving Christ, we receive eternal blessing.

This Advent we ask, What gift do we bring? God desires the gift of our life. Putting Jesus first, living for His glory, and offering ourselves as living sacrifices align us with our design: worship, love God and people, obey freely, live devotedly, and walk with thankful hearts always faithfully.

The wise men traveled far, following God’s sign, simply to worship Jesus. Their gifts—gold, frankincense, and myrrh—recognized Him as King, God, and Savior. Herod feared Him, but they bowed before Him. True wisdom still seeks Christ, offering obedience and worship no matter the distance, cost, or obstacle.

Trust is vital in every relationship, yet easily broken in a world full of hurt. God calls us to align our hearts with Him, seek wisdom, speak truthfully, and listen with empathy. When we forgive, carry each other’s burdens, and work toward reconciliation, trust can be rebuilt and relationships restored.

Loving our neighbors means more than programs—it’s building real relationships. When we engage our community, serve with humility, and become a bridge between church and people, lives are transformed. Jesus commands us to go, make disciples, and love others as ourselves. Transformed people truly transform their communities.

Prayer is not a magic formula or demand; it’s a humble, earnest request made to God, acknowledging His power and will. True supplication aligns our desires with God’s purposes, offering faith, persistence, and surrender. When we pray His will, we find peace that surpasses understanding and trust in His faithfulness.

True thanksgiving in prayer shifts our hearts from worry to worship. As we remember God’s faithfulness, peace grows, and our gratitude deepens. Scripture calls us to give thanks in all circumstances—praising, being specific, thanking even in difficulty, and surrendering the rest—aligning our hearts with God’s will and goodness.

True confession begins when we stop hiding from God. Psalm 32 reminds us that silence in sin drains our strength, but confession brings freedom and forgiveness. God doesn’t just remove consequences—He lifts guilt. When we honestly confess, He restores joy, renews our spirit, and draws us back into His presence.

Adoration is the purest form of prayer—focusing not on our needs but on who God is. It is bowing our hearts in reverent awe, declaring His holiness, power, and love. From Job’s sorrow to Mary’s song, true worship rises from every season, exalting God simply because He is worthy.
