God calls us to honor our parents by showing respect, gratitude, care, and obedience. The Fifth Commandment reminds us that honoring father and mother carries a promise. When Jesus didn’t meet their expectations, they turned on Him. Today, He still rides in—gentle and lowly—asking: will you receive Him, or turn away?
