At the cross, two thieves reveal humanity’s choice: rejection or repentance. One mocked Jesus; the other simply pleaded, “Remember me.” That cry secured eternity—not through works, but grace. Like the centurion who declared, “Surely He was the Son of God,” we too must decide: Who is Jesus to us?

Abraham’s test on Mount Moriah reveals radical faith. He trusted God’s promise so deeply that even if Isaac died, he believed God would raise him. Jehovah Jireh—the Lord provides—reminds us that obedience flows from faith in God’s Word. Today, we celebrate that same obedience in baptism.

Isaiah and John, though separated by centuries, both saw the throne of God and heard the cry: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty.” Heaven is not bound by time—God is eternal. Just as He called Jeremiah, forming him before birth and equipping him with authority, so He calls us today. Our task is simple: trust, obey, and step into His purpose.

Jonah and Samson remind us that God works through imperfect people. Jonah found peace when he surrendered in the fish’s belly, while Samson’s strength returned only after failure. Their stories show us that even in weakness, God calls, equips, and uses us—if we yield to Him.
