The Log Church: Upcoming Events and Opportunities

This week’s TLC CONNECT highlights Sunday’s worship service featuring Pastor Troy’s message, “Babies in the Church,” based on 1 Corinthians 3:1–9. The sermon focuses on the importance of growing and maturing in our faith after accepting Jesus Christ.

It also includes details about the Wednesday Night Meal on Oct. 21st. A Medicare consultant will offer individual counseling appointments at the church on Oct. 29th, with two time slots remaining. Also featured are upcoming EPIC Ministry events.

Also provided is the weekly church calendar for next week, listing worship, Bible studies, prayer, quilting, youth activities, children’s programs, and fellowship opportunities. The devotion, “Thinking About Others,” draws from Hebrews 10:24 and Matthew 6:25–34, encouraging believers to shift their attention away from personal worries and toward loving others, encouraging fellow Christians, and helping them grow in their faith.

Additional announcements include a congregational meeting on Sunday, Nov. 1st, a meal with Pastor Troy on Nov. 8th for those interested in learning more about The Log Church and its ministries.  We are reminded that Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, Nov.1st, when clocks should be turned back one hour.
