The Log Church: Upcoming Events and Opportunities

Greetings, Church Family!

​The Log Church’s TLC Connect newsletter for March 21, 2025, offers important updates and events for the congregation.​

Sunday Service – March 23rd: The upcoming sermon, titled “The Surroundings of Humility,” will focus on Jonah 2, exploring Jonah’s response during his time in the belly of the fish.​

Anchor Youth Ministries Online Auction Fundraiser: The online auction to support the Summer 2025 Disaster Relief Trip to Moore, Oklahoma, continues until Sunday, March 23rd at noon. Participants can place bids at 32auctions.com/anchorauction2025.​

Camp Shamineau Registration: The Log Church is organizing a trip to Camp Shamineau from July 20-25, offering various programs for different age groups:​

• Trailblazer (Grades 3-6): $545​

• Voyager (Grades 6-9): $545​

• Ranch Hand Horse Camp (Grades 6-9): $750​

• Junior High Island (Grades 6-9): $475​

• 5-Night Tenderfoot (Grades 1-3): $545​

• Rock Ridge Trekkers (Grades 4-6): $395​

Early bird registration offers a $20 discount for payments made in full by April 1st. Campers should register according to their grade for the 2024-25 school year. More details are available at shamineau.org.​

Choir Rehearsal: It’s not too late to join the choir! Rehearsals are held on Sundays after worship in the Sanctuary. The choir will perform on April 27th. All who love to sing are invited.​

Spring Break Schedule – March 26th: Please note that on Wednesday, March 26th, there will be no meal or children/youth programs due to Spring Break.​

Pizza with the Pastor – April 13th: Pastor Troy will host a meal for approximately 12 people in the Fellowship Hall following the worship service. This gathering is intended for those interested in learning more about the church and its ministries. New attendees are especially encouraged to join. Due to limited space, RSVPs are required. Please contact jaqlyn@crosslakeefc.org or call the church office at 218-692-4141 to reserve your spot.​

• Thursday, March 27th:

  • 6:00 PM: Men & Women Bible Study Fellowship​

• Saturday, March 29th:

  • 7:00 AM: Men’s Prayer & Pickleball​

Devotional – “Are You Disconnected from God?”: A reflection by Savanah Gammon addresses feelings of spiritual disconnection and emphasizes the importance of seeking God and supporting one another during such times. The devotional encourages trust in God’s promises and highlights the role of the community in uplifting each other.​
