Greetings, Church Family!

Love Your Enemies

As followers of Christ, we are continually called to a higher standard of love—one that reaches beyond our comfort zones and extends even to those who may be difficult to love. This week’s message, “Love Your Enemies” from Luke 6:27-36, challenges us to examine how we reflect the heart of Jesus in our relationships. Loving others is not always easy, but it is one of the clearest demonstrations of God’s grace at work within us.

Our church family has several opportunities in the coming weeks to put faith into action. On Food Shelf Sunday (June 7th), we invite everyone to help support local families by donating food and personal care items. This same day, members are encouraged to attend the Congregational Meeting following worship as we continue to seek God’s guidance for the future of our church.

Looking ahead, fellowship opportunities continue on June 14th, where we will support missionaries Barry and Diane Court. Those interested in becoming members of The Log Church can participate in the upcoming Membership Class beginning June 17th. Our Youth Group is also launching summer activities, providing opportunities for connection, fun, and spiritual growth for our young people.

We are grateful for the generosity of our congregation, both through support of the Benevolent Fund and through faithful financial giving. Together, we continue to serve our community, care for one another, and share the love of Christ. May we be reminded this week that God’s love is not limited by circumstances, and neither should ours be.

“But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back.” — Luke 6:35

We pray that this week will be filled with opportunities to extend grace, show kindness, and reflect the love that Christ has first shown to us.
