The Log Church: Upcoming Events and Opportunities

Greetings, Church Family!

June 5, 2026

As summer begins in the Crosslake area, The Log Church continues to encourage our congregation to grow in faith, serve others, and build meaningful connections within our church family and community. This week’s theme, “Love One Another,” reminds us of Jesus’ teaching in John 13:34-35 and challenges us to live out Christ’s love in practical ways each day.

This Sunday, June 7, Pastor’s message will explore what it means to love our neighbors and even our enemies. In a world that often promotes division and self-interest, Jesus calls His followers to a higher standard—one marked by grace, compassion, and sacrificial love.

The congregation will also gather following worship for an important Congregational Meeting to vote on proposed bylaw changes that were previously presented in May. Members are encouraged to attend and participate in this important moment in the life of our church.

Looking ahead, several exciting opportunities for fellowship and ministry are on the calendar. On June 14, we will host a Missions Potluck featuring Barry and Diane Courts, missionaries serving in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Join us for a meal, hear ministry updates, and enjoy a time of fellowship with our church family.

Families are also invited to register children for Vacation Bible School, taking place July 13–17. This year’s theme, “Turn Around for Jesus,” will feature Bible lessons, music, games, mission stories, puppet skits, and more. Volunteers are still needed to help make this important outreach ministry a success as we share the love of Christ with the next generation.

Those interested in becoming members of The Log Church are invited to attend the upcoming Membership Class on June 17. This class provides an opportunity to learn more about the church’s mission, beliefs, and ministries while exploring what it means to become part of the church family.

Finally, mark your calendars for June 28 as we celebrate The Log Church’s 45th Birthday. Following worship, the congregation will gather for a church-wide potluck and birthday celebration, giving thanks for God’s faithfulness throughout the years and looking forward to all He will continue to do through this ministry.

As we enter the summer season, may we continue to reflect Christ’s love through worship, service, fellowship, and outreach. We look forward to growing together as we seek to love God and love one another.
