The Log Church: Upcoming Events and Opportunities

Greetings, Church Family!

Oct. 2nd, 2026

The October 2nd TLC CONNECT highlights Sunday’s message, “In Our Weakness,” from 1 Corinthians 1:26–2:5, focusing on the superiority of God’s wisdom over human wisdom. The newsletter also announces the Wednesday Night Meal, KIDS Club volunteer opportunities, the upcoming TLC Membership Class, Food Shelf Sunday, and Prayer with the Pastor.

Members are encouraged to serve by helping with children’s ministry and to support the Crosslake Food Shelf with needed food, hygiene, and cleaning supplies. Upcoming scheduling information also includes the October 14 MEA-weekend program changes.

The newsletter also features the Youth Group’s study of the Gospel of John and Jesus as the “Bread of Life.” It also provides the church’s schedule of activities for October 4–9, including Bible studies, prayer, children’s and youth programs, and other ministry opportunities.

The devotional, “Freedom from False Guilt,” encourages believers to recognize the difference between godly repentance and false condemnation, emphasizing that Jesus offers forgiveness, acceptance, and freedom from shame. The page also announces the November congregational meeting and several upcoming EPIC Ministry fellowship events.
