The Log Church: Upcoming Events and Opportunities

The September 25, 2026, issue of TLC CONNECT highlights the upcoming Sunday message, “The Foolishness of God,” based on 1 Corinthians 1:18–25, inviting the congregation to consider what Paul means by the “foolishness of God.” The newsletter also announces the Wednesday Night Meal, featuring a taco bar, beans, rice and churros.

There are several church and community opportunities: The Log Church’s involvement in the Crosslake Days, a youth fundraiser food booth, opportunities to serve with KIDS Club, the October membership class, and “Pastor, People & Pizza” for those wanting to learn more about the church. Financial information shows year-to-date general giving of $317,508 against a $370,661 budget as of August 31.

The Fall 2026 Ministry Line-Up encourages members and families to find opportunities to connect, grow and serve. It highlights ministries including Youth Group, KIDS Club, Bible Studies, Men’s Ministry, Women’s Bible Studies, an EPIC Ministry meal, Missions, and Health & Wellness. The fall KIDS Club session has already registered more than 40 children.

There is also a schedule of events for the coming week, information about Bible Study Fellowship, and a November 1st Congregational Meeting. The devotional, “The Reviving Word,” emphasizes the life-giving power of Scripture, drawing especially from Deuteronomy 32:47, Hebrews 4:12 and Isaiah 40:8. It encourages readers to read God’s Word and allow the Holy Spirit to use it for wisdom, comfort, strength, healing and spiritual growth.
