The newsletter highlights the return of the Heart of the City Worship Band for Sunday worship and announces several upcoming family and youth activities. These include the Fall Teen Launch Party for grades 7–12 on Sept. 2nd, the Kids Club Welcome Back event on Sept. 9th, and a Family Mission Day at True North Ranch Ministries on Sept. 12th. The newsletter also notes the Anderson property auction and reminds readers that summer is coming to an end.

The second page provides the weekly schedule of worship, prayer, Bible study, youth, and other activities. It also announces the Sept. 23rd return of Wednesday evening programs and meals. Additional highlights include Trauma Care Healing Conversations training, a Sept. 13th small-group leaders meeting, and Pastor, People & Pizza on Sept. 27th. The church will also participate in Crosslake Days as a Fall Splendor, host a craft fair, support a youth food booth fundraiser, and observe Food Shelf Sunday on Sept. 6th.
