Love for the World

This Memorial Day weekend edition of TLC Connect reminds the congregation to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our nation. The newsletter emphasizes gratitude, community involvement, and opportunities to support both church ministries and local needs.

Key Highlights

• Children’s Programs: There will be no children’s programming over Memorial Day weekend.
• Summer of Love Series: This week’s message, Love for the World (Matthew 22:36-40), focuses on Jesus’ command to love God wholeheartedly and to love others as ourselves.
• Coffee & Cookies Fellowship: Hosted by Lorene and Larry.
• Budget & Buckets: The church remains behind its YTD budget goal. Congregants are encouraged to continue supporting ministry efforts and approved projects through faithful giving.
• Benevolence Fund: Donations help meet the needs of church members and others in the community facing hardships.
• Young Adults Intern: The church welcomes John Merrill as the new Young Adults Ministry.
